Grab Rails for Commercial Bathroom

Bathrooms can be a slip, trip and fall hazard if they are poorly maintained, or in a high use area. If you have showers at your workplace, care home, hospital or school, it’s advisable to install bathroom grab rails where possible to reduce incidents and accidents.

VELO offers a wide range of high-quality grab rails which can be installed easily in all sorts of bathrooms, accessible or disabled toilet and shower cubicles.

Where should grab rails be installed?

  • Every disabled or ambulant toilet should have a grab rail installed. This offers independence to a disabled person, but also offers great help to any carer who may need to accompany them.
  • Care homes.  Any residency or care home which looks after the infirm or aged population must have bathroom grab rails installed to minimise falls. They also offer confidence to the users and independence so that they can go to the bathroom independently.
  • Rehabilitation and hospitals. Anywhere which has a steady stream of people recovering from surgery or injuries should have a grab rail installed.
  • Public access bathrooms. Hotels, public toilet and shower blocks, sporting stadiums and other places where the public is permitted must have at least one ambulant bathroom with a grab rail.

Our friendly VELO team can advise you on which grab rails are best for your bathroom
